Wolves goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann is considering his international future with the United States.
Hahnemann , 37, has won only eight international caps since making his debut in 2004 and currently finds himself behind the likes of Premier League-based compatriots Tim Howard and Brad Guzan in the pecking order.
The former Reading shot-stopper was an unused substitute in each of the last two World Cups.
"I haven't played the last few times I've been called up and travelled," he told the Express & Star.
"You question whether it's worth going at all. So I don't know. We'll see."
Hahnemann has instead hinted that he will focus on his club commitments in the twilight of his career, although he might not officially retire from international football.
He added:"Do you take yourself out of the running? The way I left it was I told (coach) Bob Bradley, 'if you need me, give me a call.'
"Tim has been number one for a while and they've got Brad Guzan coming through who's a good keeper.

"Like I said, the way left it was 'if you need me, call me' but I was glad we didn't have a game in the last international break and I didn't have to fly back somewhere.
"It was nice to have a rest."Subscribe to Football FanCast News Headlines by Email
